About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Visualization Specialist with deep expertise in Tableau to join our team on a part-time, contract basis. This is a remote 1099 position open to candidates based in the United States only. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transforming data into actionable insights through compelling visualizations and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and visualizations tailored to business and user requirements

• Interpret data, analyze results, and present findings in a clear and visually engaging format

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into effective visual solutions

• Provide guidance on data visualization best practices and dashboard usability

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance in all Tableau solutions

• Assist with integrating Tableau dashboards into broader analytics workflows or business platforms

Required Qualifications

• Proven success (2+ years) working with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Online

• Strong portfolio of dashboards and data visualizations demonstrating advanced Tableau capabilities

• Proficient in data preparation and transformation techniques using tools such as SQL, Excel, or other BI platforms

• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote work environment

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. – no visa sponsorship is available for this role
